A book that lights the way for homebuyers to step beyond bias and reach toward equitable homeownership.

A valuable resource for fair housing advocates who want to be a part of the solution to close the gap– including homebuyer counselors, educators, realtors, and mortgage lenders.

You’ll discover…

  • Eye-opening facts about appraisal bias and mortgage denials, and how to self-advocate against discriminatory practices.
  • What’s being done by federal watchdogs to stop modern-day redlining, and how the rules have changed to help people of color, noncitizens, and lower-income households.
  • Incentives for first-time homebuyers, down payment assistance, and innovative mortgage options for noncitizens, self-employed, and non-salaried borrowers.
  • Metrics for all U.S. states on homeownership gaps, housing growth rates, undervalued property appraisals, and more.
